Learning does not have to take place in the classroom. The Global Ready Talent Programme (Internships) offers young talent access to local and overseas internship and work opportunities in promising enterprises.
The programme will support companies that are keen to build their talent pipeline to support expansion plans.
Singapore companies offering internships are eligible for up to 70% funding support covering the monthly internship stipend. The minimum monthly allowance (before funding) to be offered to interns is as follows:
- $800 to ITE and Polytechnic Students
- $1,000 to University Students
You shall provide interns with:
- One mentor or supervisor to offer guidance to the student during the course of internship;
- A structured internship opportunity with clarity in internship job scope; and
- Opportunities to gain regional market knowledge (for overseas internships)
